Hypnosis began to interest me about thirty years ago when I wanted to quit smoking. I had tried everything to quit smoking and looking back, I think I saw hypnotherapy as a last resort. Little did I know then, it should have been my first choice of treatment. I was so impressed at how enjoyable and effective the whole process was that I had to find out all I could about it, I then moved on to study this enjoyable, gentle therapy. Many of my clients stop smoking using hypnotherapy and then follow on with another session or sessions of hypnotherapy to lose weight or to deal with some other issues. My involvement with the counselling profession began twenty-seven years ago. I started at the grass roots level in administration and I saw so many people benefit and their lives improve after receiving quality, professional counselling that I then moved on to gain my formal qualifications. I have had valuable extensive life experience. I feel this gives me a deep understanding into the many problems that my clients face. At the time of writing for this site, I am currently completing a Diploma of Smoking Cessation, a subject that I have studied extensively and due to the outstanding success that I have had, it is a subject that I now specialize in.
